What to Expect

Pre-Treatment

Avoid strenuous exercise, ibuprofen, aspirin or alcohol for 48 hours as this might increase your risk of bruising.

Pre-Treatment

Avoid dental procedures, including cleanings, and vaccinations two weeks prior to your dermal filler treatment.

Pre-Treatment

Avoid travel within 48 hours of receiving dermal fillers.

Post-Treatment

Bruising and swelling can occur, but will typically subside after a few days. You may apply arnica and ice (no longer than 5 min at a time) to the affected area periodically.

Avoid strenuous exercise, ibuprofen, aspirin and alcohol for 48 hours as this might increase your risk of bruising. For mild soreness/tenderness, Tylenol can be taken.

Avoid facial massage including at-home devices for two weeks.

What should I expect immediately after getting a facial balancing treatment?
Be aware that bruising or swelling is possible, typically peaking at 48 hours and fully resolving within 1-2 weeks.

What results can I expect from a facial balancing treatment?
Clients will notice more balance, contour and definition. Fine lines will appear smoother, volume loss will be improved and asymmetries will be corrected.

When should I come back for my next facial balancing treatment?
A 2 week follow up appointment is recommended after product has settled. One treatment lasts 6-12 months, depending on area and type of filler. Other factors may affect metabolism of dermal fillers.

Is facial balancing pregnancy safe?

No, facial balancing is not recommended when pregnant or breastfeeding. 

Does facial balancing hurt?
Pain is minimal and soreness post-treatment can be minimized with ice and Tylenol.
